About Us

A community-led effort based in Porterville, CA focused on making sure people have access to basic needs like food and hygiene items.

This project began with a simple desire to do something good for a community that has been facing ongoing challenges, and it has since grown into an evolving effort centered on dignity and compassion. What started as small acts of support has developed into a much broader mission to bridge the gaps in access to things like food and other essential resources while building a connection with the community.

While our long-term goal is to establish a reliable food pantry for the community, we recognize that meaningful impact doesn’t have to wait for a permanent space. While we work toward securing a location, we’re currently operating in a more flexible way - building and distributing ready-to-go food and hygiene kits, preselected grocery assistance, and other forms of community outreach.

We also operate as a fiscally sponsored project of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which allows us to expand our reach while maintaining transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of donations. At our core, we want to be about more than just providing resources, but building relationships, creating opportunities for others to get involved, and fostering a sense of community where people feel seen, supported, and valued.
